Container Research

After research into the use of containers I thought my initial idea to incorporate objects into a chest of drawers was too literal and I decided to take a more abstract approach to the project. The artist Klari Reis came to mind with her series of work using petri dishes acting as containers to capture vivid colours and fluid circular shapes. I like the idea of an object that has scientific connotations used to present things so beautifully.
